For beautiful slices of bread, cut by hand, it is recommended to "saw" the bread instead of "pressing" it. The knife handle made from FSC-certified copper beech wood sits comfortably in the hand and the sharp serrated edge of the blade can cut both the harder bread crust and the softer bread crumb equally well.
No lacquers or stains are used for the wooden handle. The knife should be cleaned by hand.
